Love me tender, teach me hard 3.2

To discuss the difference between violence and education, it is a good idea to start from researching the result these two way would cause. People says that parents' way to teach would influence their children's way to teach kids. There are many research talking about how kids grow up under different disciplines, such as children who were often hit and scold by his/her parents would probably treat their children as the same way. It must not be deliberately for those who were mistreated to use the same method to teach their own kids, but his/her reaction to this kind of trauma would lead to two direction; to grow up strongly and treat his/her kids better or to grow up with bad mental state and treat his/her kids worst. So that's why we have to pay attention to the difference between violence and education because no parents would consider their measures are classify to violence, but we can't let children keep being mistreated. It is necessary to set a standard to judge from, and we still have long way to go.

Family Education V.S. Domestic Violence 3.1

Few mounths ago, there raised a discussion about tiger-typed mom and elephant-typed mom. The previous one, which meant they educated children more strictly, represented Asian parents, while the other stood for western parents, which were relatively free. And the reason why tiger-typed parents came to spotlight was many methods they used were considered domestic violence, so everyone started to question the difference between family education and domestic violence. Recently a case of a famous icon ,Chia chia, attracted the attention of the society and raised the discussion again because her father posted her crying photo and a broken Ukulele to explain the way he punished Chis-chia. Some people may support the strict attitude of Chia-chia’s father, but more people condemned him for that his post would hurt Chis-chia’s self-respect and that his breaking Ukulele was kind of domestic violence. Maybe this severe action could made a child to remind herself of not to doing again, but the worst ending might be this child would be afraid of trying to communicate with this angry father. Nothing could go through without trace; it always left shadows in children’s mind. So maybe it is true that stick and blameful word is more effectual than love education, we also have to afford a more terrible side effect.

Malicious marketing practices 2.3

What can we do when we feel sick about these awful marketing practice?

Facebook is the most popular social website in this generation, when its utilization rate grows up, the number of ads grow up. And we start feeling being disturbed about these annoying ads, however, the ads always have new methods to pop up in front of us. One method is that online games created at least hundreds of pages or profiles and posted many comments on famous people’s pages. One of the most popular painters, Cherng’s, even drew a picture to express his being helpless.

The above is not the worst, shopping groups should win the first prize, and how it works is that one person was hacked and added all his friends into the shopping groups, and some more malicious would make the people who had been added keep adding his friend into it. Jericho Huang, a twenty-year-old student in National Chiayi University, just encountered these things recently, "When I found I had been hacked, I changed all my codes immediately " he said, however, the hacker didn't give up and kept hacked him.

Both the marketing practices I mentioned may publicize their product or stores successfully, but these methods really enrage consumers. Take myself for example, if some friends who I was no longer familiar with keep adding me into shopping groups, I would "unfriend" them. I know that they're unwilling to do this, but I just hate that their accounts had already become tools of bad sellers. And if Facebook still ignore we users’ displeasure, it would lose users gradually.

STRUCTURE

1.Attitude toward the news:
(1) you show a phenomenon, but whats your real angle in this article~?
(2)you can add more in your conclusion
(3)then maybe you can show your advise at the last paragraph
à I would try to describe more about my being helpless.
2.The direction of the article:
(1) "if you creators of FB dont try to solve the problem then we will resist to use"
(2)although FB is convenient and  fashion, we are easily be hacked. we should not put too much private documents on it
(3)you should at least do your best to protect your privacy
(4)the problem of FB is that this platform is not so reliable since it can easily "sell" your privacy
(5)you can also write some problems of FB like it will make the hard sell for users to add the clubs when they detect which types of thing that users are interested in reveal
àPrivacy would be a huge range,I would try to discuss HOW we resist it.
(1)DON;T DOWNLOAD FROM some strange website
(2)change the code frequently
(3)remember to login out in outside,or make the code harder
(4) i know that fb can email you when ur account was used at other place,
but we still can log in on two computers if these two computers are in the same area

Will the Dangerous Cases Influence International Students' Will to Study in Taiwan?

Recently, more and more students choose to study abroad, and it raises a serious question about safety of exchanged students. It is possible for everyone to face these personal safety problems such as being targets of criminals; however, international students have more chances because of their foreign background. Some students would be considered rich due to their ability to go abroad for study, and some would be deceived because of language gap. So the interview below shows some international students’ attitude toward their personal safety.

When asking if they heard the news that a Japanese student was raped and killed by a taxi driver in Taiwan, Cheung Ming, a nineteen-year-old girl who came from Hong Kong, said, “No, I didn’t heard it before. But it sounds terrible. I would never take taxi alone at night. Moreover, I would avoid going out at night.” And when asking whether this kind of cases change their original intentions to come to Taiwan , compared to girls, Jaime Li, a twenty-year-old boy that came from Panama, was not afraid of these thing at all and expressed that terrible things happened everywhere.

Relieved by the conclusion that horrible news wouldn't retreat international students from coming to Taiwan, Taiwanese can still be proud of having the reputation “Island of Tourism.” Not like some Chinese parents would be worried about their children’s safety and start to exclude some countries, Taiwan can still stand on their list. In addition, it also means we the Taiwanese should do our best to maintain this hard-earned status.

-->It seems nothing to do with.

Do Taiwan worth international students to choose to study?

Most international students still gave positive evaluations to the social order of Taiwan.

Recently, more and more students chose to study abroad, and it raised a serious question about safety of returned students. It seemed easy for everyone to face these personal safety problems such as being targets of rascals, however, international students had more chances because of their foreign background. Some students would be considered rich due to their crossing sea to come to another country, and some would be deceived because of language gap. So I interviewed some international students to ask their attitude toward their personal safety.
When I asked if they heard the news that a Japanese student was raped and killed by a taxi driver in Taiwan, Cheung Ming, a nineteen-year-old girl who come from Hong Kong, said, “No, I didn’t heard it before. But it sound terrible. I would never take taxi alone at night. Moreover, I would avoid going out at night.” Compared to girls, Jaime Li, a twenty-year-old boy that come from Panama, were not afraid about these thing at all. And I kept asking whether this kind of cases change their original intentions to come to Taiwan , Cheung Ming said what Taiwan attracted her was our cheaper tuition so it didn't matter, and Jaime indicated that terrible things happened everywhere, thus I concluded that they all tended to keep their choices.
After my interview, I was a little relieved that horrible news wouldn't retreat international students from coming to Taiwan, not like some Chinese parents would be worried about their children’s safety and start to exclude some countries. However, we still had to make effort to maintain social order to let more students or visitors to come safely.

Safety of international students

Recently, more and more students chose to study abroad, and it raised a serious question about safety of returned students. It seemed easy for everyone to face these personal safety problems such as being robbed or anything else about being targets of rascals, however, international students had more chances because their foreign background. Some students would be considered rich due to their crossing sea to come to another country, and some would be deceived because of language gap.

So I wanted to write about this article, and I interviewed three international students’ attitude toward this kind of question about safety. They all expressed their tension about coming to the entirely new environment, but one of them, Monica, had parents to come with her fortunately.   When I asked how they think about those cases such as the Japanese female student was rape and killed in Taiwan or Taiwanese female student was killed by her friend in Japan, they considered it normal and said that they would be more careful than they usually did in their home country.

So I was a little relieved that these kinds of things wouldn’t retreat international students from coming to Taiwan, not like some Chinese parents would be afraid of their children’s safety and started to exclude some countries. However, we still had to make effort to maintain social order to let more students or visitors to come and be at ease.

Introduction

My name is Justine.
I am studying in National Central University Department of English.
Kaohsiung is my hometown, and that's why I couldn't adapt the weather of Taoyuang  so well.
We can wear short-sleeved T-shirts in Kaohsiung even in winter sometimes, while people lived in Taoyuang have to wear heavy jackets.
Sometimes I would feel regretful to study here because at that time I just wanted to stay away from my parents, and I didn't take the bad weather here into consideration.
